Green Day fans are no doubt happy to have a new song to digest this week, but do they feel ‘Oh, Love‘ as much as the band themselves?

Singer Billie Joe Armstrong says he’s a major fan of the track that was chosen as their lead single. He tells MTV News, “‘Oh, Love’ is kind of like leading with your heart and not necessarily with your brain as much. And kind of maybe losing your mind and shooting a little bit more from the crotch area.”

Speaking of hearts and crotches, bassist Mike Dirnt says the video for ‘Oh, Love’ may also hit those certain regions. He explains, “It pulls from the heartstrings, and it’s about love and sexual tension and things like that. That said, I think the video is gonna tip its hat in those directions. I know we’ve got some real fun scenes that might involve motorcycles and us playing live and possibly some chaos backstage and things like that.”

Armstrong offered another hint about the video, explaining, “It’s more of a fun atmosphere going with these next records, going into more of a party thing, almost kind of a ‘hell party.’ We have one song called ‘Makeout Party,’ which the events actually occurred. And that’s almost what the next video for ‘Oh, Love’ is sort of like.’

‘Oh, Love’ will feature on the first album of the trilogy,’¡Uno!,’ when it arrives Sept. 25.
