Drink of the Day Recap
Every weekday around 5:30, I give you the Drink of the Day, good for 2500 points that spend just like money in the Rockoholic VIP club, plus I give you a little knowledge about mixing drinks. Here are your drinks for March 26th thru March 30th.
Bob Marley
1/3 ounce grenadine
1/3 ounce rum, 151 proof
1/3 ounce creme de menthe
Pour the grenadine on the bottom, the creme de menthe in the middle and the rum on top. If you're feeling daring enough to try it - light the rum, place a straw all the way in the bottom of the shotglass and drink fast! Stop once the flames are inside the straw.
Crackerjack
1/3 oz Jagermeister herbal liqueur
1/3 oz Rumple Minze peppermint liqueur
Layer the shot with the sambuca at the bottom, then the jager, and the rumple minze on the top. Best if the components are chilled beforehand.
Fuzzy Monkey
3/4 oz vodka
3/4 oz peach schnapps
3/4 oz creme de bananes
1 - 1/2 oz orange juice
Shake ingredients with ice (in a mixing tin). Strain into a shooter glass.
Red Death
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz sloe gin
1/2 oz lime juice
orange juice
Pour all ingredients (except orange juice) into an ice-filled collins glass. Fill with orange juice, and serve.
Sex on the Beach
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz peach schnapps
2 oz cranberry juice
2 oz orange juice
Add vodka and peach schnapps to a highball glass over ice. Fill with equal measures of cranberry juice and orange juice, and stir.
