I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could. I'm originally from Battle Creek, Michigan (home of Tony the Tiger). I've got two kids who take up most of my time out of the office, but when I get "me time", I'm either taking in some live music or a sporting event. Since relocating, I also fell in love with the Texas music scene. I've been lucky enough to be nominated for DJ of the Year 4 straight years by the Academy of Texas Music, and was the 2009 recipient of the Academy's Palmwood Award. I'm a huge sports fan, and my loyalties are with the Michigan Wolverines, Chicago White Sox and (sorry) the Pittsburgh Steelers.

My co-workers give me a hard time every once in a while -- okay, a few times a day -- and it's usually all in good fun. But sometimes I get made fun of for reasons that have no fact to support them. So, I have to go out and prove that they are totally wrong!
This Woman Contorts Herself in Ways That Will Make You Queasy
I've seen flexibility before, but never like this. This babe has the ability to bend her body in ways that completely defy logic. When I was a kid and my sister ticked me off, I would take her Barbie Dolls and try to bend them like this lady does to herself.

Chicago Cubs Rookie Does Postgame Interview Dressed as Luigi
Baseball players have been known for being jokesters. The hot foot in the dugout, pie in the face, bubble gum on top of the cap...I could go on. But making a rookie dress up like a video game character is special.

One person's nightmare can be another person's life saver. I've spent most of my life scared out of my wits of bee stings, but little did I know that bee stings - and the venom they release - are used as a form of therapy for a number of ailments, including multiple sclerosis and other disorders.
Extremely Bored Guy Destroys a Washing Machine for Our Entertainment
Every once in a while, I think it can be therapeutic to witness the destruction of a household appliance. I can't afford to a new washing machine, so I'm glad this guy took the liberty of destroying his and allowing me to watch. Besides, I don't think anyone should try this at home.
Betty White is Not Dead — She Dyes
I don't know if you could call this a celebrity death hoax or a gut check from the grammar police. As a self-professed grammar snob, it's been rather amusing to see the internet react to the news that Betty White dyes.
