One person's nightmare can be another person's life saver. I've spent most of my life scared out of my wits of bee stings, but little did I know that bee stings - and the venom they release - are used as a form of therapy for a number of ailments, including multiple sclerosis and other disorders.

This amazes me. According to BioNewsTexas, results of bee venom therapy (known as apitherapy) have been promising enough to have the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America fund research as a potential MS treatment. If there are positive results, this could change the lives of millions of people worldwide with the disease. Check out this Discovery Channel video describing the potential benefits, and how it works.
