World’s Worst Stepdad Loses His Cool, Pistol Whips and Shoots Stepkid’s PS4

41-year-old Byron Haynes of Altamonte Springs, Florida, lost his marbles during an argument with his stepson and escalated the situation by pistol-whipping and shooting the kid's Playstation 4 in a fit of rage.

I bet he is really fun at parties...

According to police, Haynes was yelling at his stepdaughter when his stepson intervened in the argument. The stepson was told to “shut the [expletive] up and get out of the room,”. Haynes then retrieved a gun from his bedroom and proceeded to go ham on the kid's gaming system. The stepkid told police that his stepfather aimed the gun at him, but Haynes claims that didn't happen and that he only accidentally fired the gun while beating the Playstation.

Wowza. There's a lot to unpack here...

I'm sure there are plenty of times that your kids piss you off to the point of wanting to destroy their video games, but who pistol whips at PS4? Someone that is clearly unhinged. Those things are expensive as crap. Several poor decisions were made in this scenario.

Taking your aggression out on our stepkid's beloved Playstation 4 has got to be one of the worst ways to gain their undying love and affection. You're already shacking up with their mom and pretending to be their dad. I would 10/10 not suggest destroying their favorite pass-time and scaring the crap out of them.

Byron is now facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without the intent to kill, child neglect without great bodily harm, and firing a weapon in a residential area.

Sounds like a real winner, and that's why we named him our "Dumbass Of The Day" this morning on The RockShow!
