2018 is going to be a huge year for Turnstile. The Baltimore based hardcore band have been grinding in their scene since 2010, and they're set to release their sophomore LP Time & Space later this month, Feb. 23. Today, they've dropped the next single from the album, "I Don't Wanna Be Blind."

The song opens with extremely moody, grungy bass sounding similar to Nirvana. Singer Brandon Yates starts his voice out low, matching up with the music as it picks up in intensity. Guitars morph between the chugging intensity of hardcore punk and the dips and dives of funk rock. A plethora of exciting ideas are compressed into a two minute run time. This band seems determined to bring something new to the game, and to push the genre forward.

They will hit this spring on a headlining tour. Joining them on this trek are Los Angeles post-hardcore vets Touche Amore, Culture Abuse and Razorbumps. The tour starts with a record release show in D.C., and teminates in Boston at the Paradise Rock Club.
