The Weekend Buzz – It’s Back To The Spirits With Butterfield Bourbon and Gin

We're putting the beer down and picking up some spirits this week on The Weekend Buzz. We'll sample the Belt Buckle Bourbon and Belt Buckle Gin, plus we'll hang out with Richard from the new Double Tree Hotel in Abilene.

If you're not familiar with the show, basically it's just an excuse for us to drink beer, spirits, seltzers, and whatever else we can get our grubby hands on, tell you about them, and let you decide if you want to go out and grab some for yourself. We also hang out with local musicians, business owners, and whoever else can stand the smell of the Rock 108 studios.

Last week, we hung out with Kris and Moi from Potosi Live and sipped on the Chilton Hard Seltzer and the Day Pass. If you like lemon, you'll love the Chilton plus it had a nice kick to it at 7% ABV. The Day Pass was about as perfect of a Belgium Wheat Ale as you can get. It was super smooth with a nice balance of fruity notes and hops.

This week, we put the beer down to pick up some spirits. We'll be trying the Belt Buckle Bourbon and Belt Buckley Gin. We'll also be hanging out with Richard from the Double Tree Hotel and talking about all the cool things they have going on.
