The Rock’s Daughter To Be First 4th Generation Wrestler In WWE
The Rock's 18-year-old daughter Simone Johnson is the first fourth-generation wrestler to be training with the WWE. After the sudden death of his father, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has a big reason to smile this week. The WWE broke the news that his 18-year-old daughter Simone Johnson is now following in her father, grandfather, and great-grandfathers footsteps by training to become a professional wrestler.
18-year-old Simone Johnson, daughter of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, is planning to follow in the footsteps of her dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather. On an Instagram post, Johnson told her followers about her longtime love of the sport:
"To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & said “this will be my life one day”, this is for you. I’m humbled, grateful & ready to work. Let’s do this."
In the post, Johnson is seen wearing a grey "Property of WWE Performance Center" t-shirt. Since the announcement, both of Johnson's parents have gone to their social media to share their excitement about their daughter's signing with WWE. Her mother Dany Garcia posted to her Instagram a video montage congratulating her daughter that included photos and videos of her daughter's father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Her dad Dwayne commented on his daughter following her dreams:
"Dreams ain’t just for dreamers.
Congrats to my #1 born, Simone Johnson on officially signing her wrestling contract with @wwe @wwenxt and on her way to becoming the first ever 4th generation WWE athlete.
Carry our family name proudly, but your road will always be yours to create, earn & own.
So proud. Live your dream. Let’s work."
