Texas Rangers Set World Record For Most Sunglasses At Night [VIDEO]

Not only did yesterday (June 21)mark the official start of Summer, it now will mark the day that the Texas Rangers set a Guinness Book of World Record for the most people wearing sunglasses at night.

Before the game, the Rangers gave out free sunglasses to wear at the end of the 6th ending when the record would be attempted.

Former President, George W. Bush was on hand with Nolan Ryan to help set the record which was 423.  Even though over 33,000 people were there, with most participating, the official record was set at 424.

Guinness World Records offiicial,  Danny Girton Jr. said:

"The minimum requirement was easily surpassed, I'm pleased to say that 424 people participated.”
