Texas Father Kills Man Sexually Abusing Daughter. Should Father Be Punished? [POLL]

CNN reports that a Texas father killed a man he caught in the act of sexually abusing his daughter.

The father caught the abuser in the act of violating his daughter. He stopped the aggressor by hitting him in the head several times, the report states. The abuser died at the scene.

While this will surely be sorted out by the local law enforcement, what I want to know is "do you you think the father should be punished for killing the man who sexually abused his 4 year old daughter?".
