Real Ale’s TXPA: The Texas Beer That Puts a Lone Star Spin on Aussie Flavor
It’s another round of shameless taste testing on The Weekend Buzz. This week, we’ll crack open an Aussie favorite with a Texas spin.
A Texas Twist on Aussie Attitude
You ever meet an Aussie and think, “Man, that dude’s chill even when everything’s on fire?” Well, Real Ale Brewing Company somehow bottled that energy, slapped a Texas star on it, and gave us TXPA, or Texas Extra Pale Ale. It’s the Lone Star version of Australia’s most-loved beer style, brewed right here in Blanco, Texas.
Light, Bright, and Just the Right Kind of Weird
TXPA hits that sweet spot between “crisp and crushable” and “flavor bomb.” They use a touch of rice to keep it dry and refreshing, and then load it up with tropical hops that taste like papaya, pineapple, peach, and maybe even a hint of “I deserve this.” It’s the kind of beer that pairs perfectly with a backyard jam session, a hot grill, or pretending you know how to fix your truck.

Real Ale Keeps It Real
Real Ale’s been cranking out quality Texas brews since before your favorite band broke up (and got back together). They don’t cut corners, they make beer the right way, and TXPA is proof. Clean, balanced, and easy-drinking, it’s the kind of pale ale that makes you want to grab another… responsibly, of course.
The Buzz Backstage
This week on The Weekend Buzz, I’m raising a cold one to Real Ale Brewing Company’s TXPA — because sometimes being a little “extra” is exactly what Texas ordered.
Enjoy responsibly. The Weekend Buzz is pre-recorded in the Outlaw Automotive Studios and powered by Ben E. Keith Beverages.
