Few would argue that HBO's 'True Blood' has been limping to the finish with its final season, but the last bit of blood will finally drop on August 24 with series finale installment "Thank You." To wit, HBO has released their spoilery synopsis for the finale, along with a brand new look at this Sunday's penultimate installment, "Love is to Die."

After six seasons, we're now in the midst of 'True Blood''s final outing, bringing the epic (and ridiculous and 'Twilight'-y at times) love story of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) to an end. True Blood' season 6 naturally thinned the herd a bit, moving into a seventh and final run that reset the focus on smaller Bon Temps vampire stories, though it seems the cast has suffered an unexpected loss. Late season 6 arrival Luke Grimes had his suave vampire character James upgraded to series regular for the final year, but will now be recast.
