It seemed to end just as quickly as it began, but that's just the whirlwind nature of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and its seemingly endless schedule of talent. As tents were deconstructed and glow-in-the-dark paint washed off, fest goers were treated to one last musical frolic under the oppressive Tennessee sun. Here's how Bonnaroo capped off its 2013 iteration.

Earlier this week, we learned that Mumford and Sons bassist Ted Dwane suffered from a blood clot in his brain, causing him to undergo emergency surgery. As a result, the band has been forced cancel their appearance at this weekend’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn.

Although Bonnaroo is still more than a month away, it’s never too early to start planning, and now you can do just that. The four-day schedule has just been revealed, giving festival-goers plenty of time to map out which acts they’ll catch – and which they’ll be forced to miss out on.

Back in February, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival organizers announced this year’s initial lineup via a special hour-long webcast. Now, even more acts have joined the impressive bill, including Empire of the Sun, White Lung, Solange, Polyphonic Spree, Black Prairie, ALO, Delta Rae, Bustle in Your Hedgerow and the Rubens.

The Bonnaroo 2013 lineup still hasn't been announced, but we now know that when this year's acts are revealed, none other than parody artist and accordionist "Weird Al" Yankovic will do the honors. "I just wanted you to know that I'll be announcing this year's Bonnaroo lineup live on YouTube," "Weird Al" reveals in a new video that surfaced on YouTube today (Jan. 31).

Bonnaroo 2013 is just five short months away, and organizers have announced the nation's first-ever installation of a permanent solar array for a music festival. The system will generate more than 61,000 kilowatt hours per year and has already been activated in preparation for the event.
