The Weekend Buzz is back in Texas for some more important beer research. This time, we crack open some summer flavors that will be perfect for the scorching heat in the Lone Star State.

What Is The Weekend Buzz?

Basically, it's an excuse for us to do some shameless taste-testing of brews, spirits, seltzers, and more, while in the comfort of our own workplace. Sure, it's a dangerous gig, but I'm willing to lay it all on the line in the name of good brew.

Last week, we sipped on some Anheuser-Busch favorites during Western Heritage Classic. This week, we'll crack open a couple of brews that will help quench that thirst during the hottest days of summer in Texas.

Corona Sunbrew Citrus Cerveza

Brewed with real orange and lime peels, Corona Sunbrew Citrus Cerveza combines bold citrus flavors with traditional Mexican beer that pairs best with a day in the sun and your friends by your side.

Modelo Oro

Modelo’s golden flavor delivers an exceptionally smooth, elevated taste and a light beer with a crisp, clean finish. Modelo Oro is 90 calories and 3 carbs.

With Texas about to be a huge burning pit of heat for the next several months, you don't want to drink anything heavy. These two brews will satisfy those tastebuds without making you feel like you drank a vat of beer.

We'll crack these open at 3 pm this Friday on the next round of The Weekend Buzz!

The Weekend Buzz is a pre-recorded show that airs every Friday from 3-7 on Rock 108, brought to you by our buddies over at Ben E. Keith Beverages, who,o along with Townsquare Media, remind you to enjoy responsibly.

Check out some of the brews and spirits we have tried in the past on The Weekend Buzz.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
