Stone Temple Pilots Recruit Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and Perform Classic Songs [VIDEO]

Stone Temple Pilots recently recruited Chester Bennington of Linkin Park to record a new song and to be their part-time singer. One question that I wondered after I checked out the teaser of the song we posted on our site, was how Chester was going to sound singing old school STP songs that fans have come to know and love. Well, now we know with a new video that was uploaded on YouTube.

First of all, the new song from Stone Temple Pilots, 'Out Of Time' is pretty cool. At the very least, it's nice to hear Chester singing around guitars again - something Linkin Park hasn't done a lot of lately. But, to me, it doesn't sound like a Stone Temple Pilots song. It sounds like another band featuring the guys from STP and Chester from Linkin Park.

The same can be said about the video of Chester singing some old school STP songs. Chester does a good job, but it's just kind of weird to me.
