Rudolph’s Roundup Toy Drive to Benefit Local Students This Christmas
The holidays are supposed to be a joyous time of year, but for many local students, it's anything but enjoyable.
Did you know that there are over 1,000 homeless students within Abilene Independent School District? Many of those students are unaccompanied. Most, if not all, of those students won't get to enjoy the traditional Christmas that you and I do. So help us, help them have a Merry Christmas.
Like all other toy drives, we're accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls (of all ages), which will benefit needy/homeless students in AISD. We're also accepting monetary donations in which we'll use to purchase gifts for these kids.
These are the same students you helped keep warm with the Coats for Kids drive. Now, we want to make sure they have something to unwrap on Christmas Day.
Rudolph's Roundup Toy Drive will last until 5pm on December 20th. So please bring as many gifts (or monetary donations) as you can for boys and/or girls to our studios at 3911 South 1st.
To sweeten the pot, for every donation of a gift or $10, you'll receive an entry into our grand prize drawing of an autographed Trans-Siberian Orchestra electric guitar. We'll also have other prizes to give away as well.
Once again, we're helping kids of all ages (3-18), so please keep that in mind when you drop off your donation.
Here are a few pictures of the guitar that's up for grabs.
