The band, which featured the late great Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, reformed late in 2022 with guitar virtuoso Zakk Wylde and Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante stepping in for the brothers while Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown reclaimed their roles as singer and bassist respectively.

The band went on to play a few music festivals in 2022 while hinting at a full-blown tour in 2023. That time has come.

Pantera announced the tour on their Facebook page and will be supported by heavy metal legends Lamb of God with three Texas stops.

We already knew Pantera would be supporting Metallica in August, now we have two more Texas dates where they'll get support from the mighty Lamb of God.

Pantera and Lamb of God Texas Dates

  • August 17th - Woodlands, Texas (Lamb of God)
  • August 18th - Arlington (With Metallica)
  • August 20th - Austin Texas (Lamb of God)

Those who know me know I'm a huge Pantera fan. So it kind of crushed me to know that I was not going to be able to make it to the Arlington show with Metallica, so seeing these other dates in Texas makes my metal heart happy.

Speaking of Pantera, did you know that has its own booze brand? Keep scrolling to check out their brand as well as other Texas musicians with their own brand.
