There’s an incredibly cool optical illusion image going around Facebook. Follow the instructions below to unlock the secret.

Here’s what you do:

1. Stare at the red dot on the girl’s nose in the image below for 30 seconds

2. Turn your eyes towards the wall/ceiling or somewhere else on a plain surface.

3. Keep blinking your eyes quickly!! DON’T LOOK BACK AT THE PHOTO. We made that mistake the first time.

So your mind was just blown, right? What’s going on here is a phenomenon called afterimage that takes place after you overstimulate your eyes by staring for a long period of time. Once you unlock your gaze, your vision overcompensates in the other direction, which causes you to see the opposite colors of what you just viewed.

Now the question is, who did you see in the afterimage? A lot of people are saying Beyonce, with others reporting Kim Kardashian and Mila Kunis. The photo is actually of Indian actress Deepika Padukone. Since this illusion has been storming the internet this week, the 26-year-old just became internationally famous in quite an unusual way.
