Operation Freedom Run: Run for a Cause That Matters
Operation Freedom Run is an impactful 5K–10K obstacle course designed to raise both awareness and funds in the ongoing fight against human trafficking in the Big Country.
Presented by Beyond Trafficking in partnership with The Lab, this high-energy event takes place at 6526 W Lake Rd in Abilene, and it’s open to the public. Whether you’re a hardcore runner, weekend warrior, or just someone who wants to show up and make a difference, there’s a place for you on the course.

Obstacle Course With a Message
This isn’t your average 5K. You’ll be running, walking, climbing, and maybe even crawling, all for a very powerful cause. Each obstacle represents the challenges survivors face and overcome on their path to freedom.
Support Survivors, Fuel Prevention
Every step you take helps support Beyond Trafficking’s mission to assist survivors and fund prevention programs right here in our local communities. Your participation shines a spotlight on an issue that often hides in the shadows.
Make a Difference
Want to get involved? You can register to run, volunteer, or donate. However you choose to take part, you’ll be joining a movement that says: not in our town, not on our watch. Human trafficking sucks, plain and simple.
