Texas Brewery Drops Wild Pickle Beer Flavors and a Happy Gilmore IPA
The Weekend Buzz is back doing Texas things, crackin’ open the wildest brews we can find and talking about them like we’re experts. (We’re not, but we drink like we are.) If it’s bold, weird, or made in the Lone Star State, you know we’re gonna sip it and spill the details.
Last week we sipped on Big Sipz for the Fourth of July. If you missed that fruity, boozy blast of summer, check out our Booze Vault below.

Pickles & Punchlines
This week, we’ll crack open not one, but two wild releases: the new Pickle Beer Variety Pack and a hazy new IPA with a serious sense of humor, Gold Jacket, Green Jacket.
If you’ve listened to The Weekend Buzz for more than five minutes, you already know we have a thing for Martin House Brewing Company. These mad scientists of flavor out of Fort Worth never miss a chance to get weird, and I'm all about it.
Pickle Beer Goes Fruity
Martin House has already made waves with their classic Best Maid Pickle Beer, but now theyve decided to mess around and drop a fruited variety pack with some unexpected twists. We’ll try their Strawberry, Lemonade, Orange, and Blackberry flavors. As someone who loves pickles, I am not sure what to expect when we crack 'em open.
Chubbs Approved: A Hazy Worth Losing a Hand Over
Now onto what might be the craziest beers of the summer: Gold Jacket, Green Jacket, a hazy IPA rocking a can design that features Chubbs and the gator from Happy Gilmore.
The beer? It’s actually no joke. A solid hazy with citrusy hops and a smooth, juicy finish. It’s got the punch of a classic IPA without the bitterness overload.
We'll crack these bad boys open starting at 3 pm this Friday on The Weekend Buzz, powered by Ben E. Keith Beverages in Texas. Beverages featured on The Weekend Buzz are for 21 and over. Always drink responsibly. Don’t drink and drive, and don’t wrestle any gators, even for Chubbs.
