By all accounts, this is the first time Sir Elton has appeared on the same release as the American death metal band known for songs like "Grotesque Impalement," "Wrong One to Fuck With" and "Pissing in the Mainstream."

You can credit Turnstile for making it happen. The red-hot hardcore band has announced a "reimagined" version of its 2025 album, Never Enough.

On Friday (Aug. 21), Turnstile dropped the list of acts that will appear on Never Enough: Versions. Dying Fetus and Elton John were listed back-to-back in the announcement post.

Additional names participating in the project include Hayley Williams (Paramore), hyper-pop singer Slayyyter and Angel Du$t, a Baltimore hardcore band that used to feature Turnstile vocalist Brendan Yates.

The album is due out Aug. 28.
