This Austin Café Was Just Named the Most Iconic Diner in Texas
If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the hunt for a new favorite eatery. Even though I tend to be a creature of habit, I do like to step outside of my comfort zone from time to time. That’s why I often write about places that serve the best burgers, chili, tacos, and so forth on a regular basis. It helps me get my bucket list together.
Speaking of that bucket list, there are still plenty of places right here in Wichita Falls that I need to try. I’ll eventually get around to trying most of them, but we only eat out about once a month, so it’ll be a while before I do. However, when I’m on a road trip, unless I want to eat cold sandwiches in the hotel room, I have no choice but to eat out.

Magnolia Café: Texas’ Most Iconic Diner
When it comes to road trips, Austin is one of my favorite destinations. Not only is the nightlife in our state capital among the best in the nation, but there are more great restaurants there than I can keep up with. One place I plan to visit the next time I’m in that neck of the woods is Magnolia Cafe, which was recently deemed the most iconic diner in Texas by Reader’s Digest.
Talk about some good-looking grub. They have a little bit of everything I love on the menu. From burgers to Tex-Mex, pasta, brunch, and more, I’m not even sure where to start. Looks like I’ll have to make a couple of trips.
