A road rage incident in Beaumont, Texas, led to a man being sprayed with bear spray. Let me tell you – he took a direct hit to the face with a big old shot of that spray.

Road Rage Escalations: From Fists to Firearms

I’ve commented on a ton of road rage videos over the years. In most cases, the folks end up duking it out right there on the side of the road. But I’ve also seen guns pulled and even shots fired. But this is the first time I’ve seen someone get sprayed.

While I’ve never been on the receiving end of pepper spray, I have a close friend who is a cop. Of course, recruits are always sprayed while in the police academy. He told me it took half an hour of running his face under the water in the shower to get rid of the sting.

How Did He Drive Away After a Direct Hit?

So, the biggest question I have is how in the world was that guy able to drive away from the scene of the incident? I feel like I would have dropped to my knees, writhing in agony if it were me. But somehow, he was able to keep it together long enough to get in his car and pull away.

Hopefully, you never find yourself in the same situation. But if you do, remember, there are plenty of folks out there who are willing to kick things up a notch when tempers flare on the roadways.
