The tour will kick things off on Tuesday, June 20, with the always competitive, always fun Pro Amateur Tour round. This is where you will see some of Abilene's businesswomen, civic leaders, movers, and shakers teaming up with a particular golf professional.

During the elimination rounds, there will also be a special free event for children to participate in at the Abilene Country Club South course driving range. All junior golfers are welcome. Just bring your own clubs and take part in the golf clinic beginning at 5:30 pm. And yes, the entire event is absolutely free.

On Thursday, June 22 at 5:30 pm, there will be a "Ladies' Putt and Par-Tee" meet and greet with the pros complete with wine and cheese. This too is a free event; you are only asked to bring your own putter.

The competition will heat up on Friday and Saturday, the final two days of the Mackies Construction Women's All-Pro Tour. To sponsor, participate, volunteer, or for more info. call (325) 692-1855.
