
Texas Father Wanted After Fleeing Crash That Left Family Injured in Houston
In a bizarre twist in Texas, a father is accused of crashing his car and then leaving his family at the scene of an accident in Houston.
What Happened
According to Fox26 in Houston, a search is underway for a man who police say was traveling at speeds close to 100 mph when the family's SUV was hit by another car, then crashed into a bayou.

Police say the man was in a Ford Expedition southbound on Yale Street when he smashed into another vehicle making an illegal turn. After the crash, instead of staying on the scene and helping his injured family, the man left his wife and four children, jumped into another car, and bailed.

8-Year-Old Ejected
The man's 8-year-old child was ejected from the car while his wife and three other children were also injured in the crash. All were taken to the the hospital. According to officials, three of the accident victims were in critical but stable condition while two others were listed as serious but stable.
Police have not released the identities of those involved, but did say that all victims were part of the same family.
Search Continues For Missing Father
The investigation continues as police search for the missing father who abandoned his entire family at the scene of an accident.
