Multiple tornadoes have touched down in Texas over the last week including one in the small town of Hawley where a storm chaser rescued a family which was all caught on his livestream.

Freddy McKinney was chasing a storm near Hodges on May 2nd when he watched in horror a tornado destroy a home as he approached County Road 458 near Hawley, Texas.

What happened next was something you would see out of a movie. As McKinney kept driving, he witnessed several people running up the street toward him with one woman carrying a child in her arms. Those people turned out to be the house residents he saw get obliterated only moments earlier.

McKinney tells the family to get in who immediately ask for a phone to call their family. You can watch the dramatic events unfold in the video below.

The heroics of McKinney didn't end there as he made sure to keep in contact with the family to make sure that they were ok.

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page was set up for the family who lost everything they had.

They all sustained injuries and somehow walked away from a completely leveled house. Lane was ripped from their arms and thrown 25 feet, and was hit in the face with a brick, they think. They will need funds to help in the transition, rebuilding their lives and covering their ER & vet bills.
