The hours to attend are Thursday from 5 pm till 8 pm, Friday from 10 am till 7 pm, Saturday from 10 am till 5 pm and Sunday from 1 pm till 4 pm.
Martha McGee, the President of the Friends of the Abilene Public Library says "we are so excited to be able to host our annual sale this year, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone come shopping for their favorite books, recordings and help support the Friends of the Public Library. The best part is that all the books that were donated for last year's sale that didn't take place will now be put with all of this years books and we have a huge selection to choose from.

This year's 'sneak a peak night' for the members of the Friends of the Library was a huge success where members shopped for books through two years worth of donated inventory, since the pandemic didn't allow us to have the sale. As for this year the sale is boating a huge selection to choose from. On Sunday the clearance is the most popular for those looking to stock up on a variety of titles. This sale also includes CDs (aka compact discs), vinyl albums, VHS movies, and so much more.
The Abilene Public Library will benefit from this sale as the Friends Members aim to improve our library. To become a member it only costs $15 for a single membership, $25 for a family membership, $50 for a Caring Friend, and more.
