That’s why I’m so fired up about the Veterans Freedom Parade happening right here in Abilene. What’s Happening (and Why You Should Be There)

According to the Abilene Freedom Foundation, things fire up on Saturday, November 8th, with a Car Show at 9 AM, followed by the Veterans Freedom Parade at 11 AM. After that, it’s all about music, fun, and awards as Abilene turns downtown into one big thank-you party for our heroes.

Here’s the rundown:

• The Parade: Veterans, active-duty military, and first responders rolling through downtown, expect goosebumps and maybe a tear or two.
