Your New Best Friend Might Be in This Week’s Abilene Adoptables
Your new best friend might be sitting in a kennel in Texas right now waiting for you.
10 Abilene Dogs That Need a Home This Week
Look, we talk a lot about community in Abilene, church potlucks, Friday night lights, helping neighbors, but our animal shelters are part of that community, too. Right now, All Kind Animal Initiative is at full capacity, and 10 dogs really need to find homes, fosters, or at least get seen.
Some of these pups have been waiting longer than others. Same wagging tail. Same big hopeful eyes. Just still…waiting.

Meet the Dogs
Below is this week’s lineup of adoptable pups. Some of these faces may look familiar because a couple were on last week’s list. They’re still waiting, still believing, still ready to love the absolute crap out of someone.

Why Adopt or Foster In Texas?
When even one dog gets adopted or fostered, it opens space for another animal in need. It’s the domino effect, but instead of chaos, it’s just… good vibes, full bellies, and fewer sad puppy eyes.
How You Can Help These Pups
- Adopt: If you’ve been thinking about it, this is your sign from the universe.
- Foster: Even a week helps. All Kind provides support. You provide the couch.
- Share: Seriously, a share on Facebook might match a dog with their human.
- Visit: Swing by and meet them. Sometimes a dog picks you.
