The '80s brought us some of the most beloved TV shows of all time. Here's a look back at some of those cheesy shows that will forever live on in our hearts and minds.

Knight Rider

In 1982, Knight Rider took TV by storm with a man who helped fight crime with a talking car named KITT. David Hasselhoff played Michael Knight, a lone crusader in a dangerous world. The world... of the Knight Rider.

Dukes Of Hazzard

The Dukes of Hazzard was about a couple of cousins, with a very hot cousin named Daisy, who were on probation for moon-shining, yet, always seemed to be in trouble. They would run from the law in their famed Dodge Charger that they named 'The General Lee'. Of course, the real star of the show was Daisy, who's 'daisy dukes' made the eyes of every red-blooded male pop out.

A-Team

The TV show that made Mr. T a household name started in 1983 and ended in 1987. It followed a group of ex-special forces who were on the run from the military as they helped others. To this day, every time I fire up a cigar, I always think ''I love it when a plan comes together".

CHiPS

The show aired from 1977 to 1983 and followed the lives of two California Highway Patrol officers, Poncherello and Jon. The thing that set this show apart from others was the over the top wrecks in the show and the funky music.

Miami Vice

The show was about two undercover detectives, Crockett and Tubbs, working for the Miami PD. It was really the first drama I remember watching on TV. But, what set it apart for me was the soundtrack. Artists like Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top and others were played throughout the show, and it had a ton of visual effects.

Night Court

Airing from 1984 to 1992, Night Court was about a late night Manhattan court with a whacky judge named Harry, a sex crazed prosecutor, a hot defense attorney, and a huge bailiff named Bull. The show was hilarious and at one time made me want to be a lawyer, but I never learned how to lie real good.

Three's Company

The show that featured a dude who had two hot girls as roommates, aired from 1977 to 1984. It made John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt, and Suzanne Somers household names - especially Suzanne Somers. Man, she still looks great today. Anyway, the three would always end up getting into some sort of trouble or misunderstanding, and the ways they got out of trouble were hilarious. The only real question about the show is which landlord was the best - Mr. and Mrs. Roper, or Ralph Furley.

Family Ties

Family Ties aired from 1982 to 1989 and featured ex-hippie parents who were raising their family in a more conservative way. The show made Michael J. Fox a household name and he moved on to star in several movies including my personal favorite, 'Back To The Future'. I remember I had the hots for Mallory (Justine Bateman).

Cheers

One of my all-time favorite shows was Cheers, which aired from 1982 to 1993. My favorite character had to be Coach who was totally scatter-brained, but hilarious. Of course, you can't forget about Norm with his quick witted responses: "What's shaking, Norm?", "All four cheeks and a couple of chins". Loved that show.

Who's The Boss

From 1984 to 1992, 'Who's The Boss' starred Tony Danza as a retired major league baseball player who relocates to Connecticut to work as a live-in housekeeper for a divorced advertising executive. The show was a bit cheesy, even for me back in the day, but for some reason, I kept watching it all the time.

I know there are a ton of other shows out there that I missed. What were some of your favorite 80's TV shows?
