Beginning Sept. 1, fans of the Dave Matthews Band will have a radio station on SiriusXM dedicated to their favorite act. The service will run throughout the month of September on Sirius channel 142, XM channel 43, and on the SiriusXM app for mobile devices.

‘Dave Matthews Band Radio’ will be all-Dave, all night featuring music, interviews and live recordings of Matthews and his side projects. Matthews’ upcoming album, ‘Away From the World,’ will be heavily featured, with band members introducing each song off the record.

To kick off the new station, they will provide a live simulcast of Matthews’ concert at the Gorge Amphitheater in Gorge, Wash. on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 11PM ET. It will be replayed throughout the month.

“We’re excited that SiriusXM is making it possible for fans everywhere to hear our September 1 show at The Gorge,” Matthews said. “We’re also looking forward to sharing our new songs and some rare materials from our archives on Dave Matthews Band Radio.”

Matthews is the latest musician to have his own SiriusXM station. Other acts that are similarly featured on the service include Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Jimmy Buffett, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra.
