Sweet, Spicy, and Boozy: Blake’s Ciders Are Buzz-Worthy in Texas
The Weekend Buzz is blazing another booze trail in Texas with Blake's Hard Cider Co., with two offerings that are not messing around.
Triple IPA Threat
Last week, we cracked open three brews from TUPPS Brewery with their Juice Pack, Evil Dankster, and Salted Lime. Check out more about these and other brews we've tried on The Weekend Buzz in the Booze Vault below.

Blake’s Brings the Heat and the Jam
This week, we're going to crack open a couple of tasty brews from Blake's Hard Cider out of Michigan.
El Chavo: Sweet Mango with a Spicy Kick
If you're the kind of person who puts hot sauce on everything (even your hot sauce), El Chavo is your jam. Or rather… your cider. This 6.5% ABV beauty blends juicy mango with a surprising blast of habanero heat. It's sweet up front, then hits you with that slow burn that makes you go, “Oh dang… that’s spicy… gimme another sip.”
Big Jam: Berry Bliss at 8%
Big Jam doesn’t play small. This imperial cider brings strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry together like a berry-fueled boy band on a summer reunion tour. At 8% ABV, it’s dangerously smooth and packed with flavor, making it a top choice for backyard gatherings or late-night revelry. You’ve been warned.
Cider with Personality
Both of these ciders are gluten-free, made with real fruit, and pack enough flavor to make your average apple cider feel like it belongs at the kids’ table. Blake’s isn’t here for basic, and neither are we.
We'll crack 'em open at 3 this Friday on The Weekend Buzz, powered by our friends at Ben E. Keith Beverages, who remind you to enjoy responsibly.
