Yuimetal's split from Babymetal left fans wondering if the the band would ever return to being fronted by a trio. The picture has now become a bit clearer, as a new member has performed with Babymetal at recent concerts in Japan and the U.K., with one of the shows taking place at the Glastonbury festival.

The kawaii metal icons played an eight-song set at the legendary fest, debuting one previously unheard song, though the title of that track has not been revealed and video has yet to surface. Other new tracks were also in focus at the fest, including "Pa Pa Ya!!", which was released in late June and can be watched in the video below.

The clip shows a trio of frontwomen, the newest member being Riho Sayashi of Japanese pop group Morning Musume, per a Kerrang! report. Babymetal, however, have yet to release an official statement confirming that Sayashi is indeed the newest member of the group.

As new singles have spilled out over the last year, it became evident that Babymetal were plotting the follow-up to 2016's Metal Resistance. Word got out through an Amazon U.K. webstore link that revealed the group's third record will be titled Metal Galaxy and that it will arrive on Oct. 11.

Despite these reports, nothing official has come from Babymetal regarding the record.
