When Eddie Murphy quit as the Oscars host, Facebook and Twitter users tried to get the Muppets to replace him. That didn’t happen, but they did show up on ‘Saturday Night Live’ last night.
They joined their movie co-star Jason Segel, seeming to think they were hosting the show along with him.

Karl Slover, who played several roles in the Judy Garland film, including the lead trumpeter, a soldier and a townsperson, died of cardiopulmonary arrest in Georgia on Tuesday. He was 93.
