Abilene’s First Ever Comic Con is Coming December 4th and 5th
The Key City's very first comic convention is coming to town. Get ready to see some of your favorite anime characters, actors, and more as Abilene Comic Con happens on December 4th and 5th at the Abilene Convention Center.
What is Comic Con?
Basically, a Comic Con is a comic convention that focuses on comic books and the culture of comic books. Comic book fans can meet with creators, actors, voice-over actors from their favorite anime, tv show, or movie. It's definitely a fun time for all ages.
What's happening at Abilene Comic Con?
This year, you'll be able to check out popular anime Jujustu Kaisen, and you'll also have the chance to meet Kaiji Tang, the voice of Satoru Gojo as well as Anne Yatco, the voice of Nobara Kugisaki. You'll also be able to meet Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Yellow, Karan Ashley as well as Kenn Scott who played 'Raphael' in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze.
There will also be a cosplay competition that could score you some cash. Plus, in addition to meeting celebrities, you'll be able to do a little shopping with dozens of vendors and exhibitor booths.
Santa Claus will also make an appearance and they will have a gift-wrapping service available. Plus the Odessa Ninja turtles will be hosting a pizza party and taking photos at their booth.
When and where is Abilene Comic Con?
Abilene Comic Con takes place December 4th and 5th at the Abilene Convention Center, 1100 North 6th street.
How much are tickets?
You can get a Saturday pass for $20, and a Sunday pass for $15. If you want to go both days, you can get a weekend pass for $30. VIP passes are available for $85.
