Texas Thief Tries To Conceal Identity With Elbow In Abilene Porch Pirate Incident

Abilene Police Department in Texas needs your help catching a thief who was caught on camera stealing from a house. Your help could earn you cash.

Posted on the APD Facebook page on Tuesday, February 11th, the door cam video shows the suspect walking up to the front porch of a house. As she shifts back and forth nervously, she appears to pick up a package that was left on the porch and cover it up with a hoodie or jacket.

Once she realizes she is being recorded, she appears to conceal her identity by placing her elbow over the camera. She knocks on the door while securing the package before turning around and leaving.

Some commenters jokingly chimed in to say "She was just trying to keep the package warm" while others had a more serious tone and suggested illegal drug use was to blame.

I'm still trying to figure out how they thought hiding a camera with their elbow while it recorded was the move. That one has me scratching my head.
