Abilene Area Stores Closed on Thanksgiving Day in 2021

For years, shopping on Thanksgiving Day has been a big deal for many retailers. This year, however, there will be many that close their doors so their employees can spend time with their families.

Honestly, I think it's a great idea that businesses close on Thanksgiving. While I do love getting out and taking advantage of all the great deals, I truly do feel for those employees that have to work, instead of being with their families.

While there are many that are typically open on Thanksgiving, there are also quite a few that are almost always closed on the holiday.

What does that mean? Well, Black Friday is still a thing, so if you don't do your shopping online, then get out and brave the chaos after you've had a good night's sleep dreaming about leftover turkey.
