Oh Sleeper frontman Shane Blay may have just signed on as the new singer of  the new band Wovenwar featuring the recent members of As I Lay Dying, but he confirms in a new posting that he not be leaving one band for the other. He makes it clear that he'll be a big part of both acts.

As I Lay Dying's instrumental members have been somewhat in limbo since the murder-for-hire case concerning their frontman Tim Lambesis began in 2013. But recently the individual members, minus Lambesis, began posting video footage and audio clips of new music, suggesting that they had started a new band.

It was recently revealed that that band was Wovenwar and they confirmed that it was Blay that could be heard on vocals in the clips. As you can expect, this revelation made Oh Sleeper fans a little nervous, but Blay says in the statement below:

Archers:
Shane here,
To put to rest the rumors that I'm leaving Oh Sleeper I tell you this: Micah and I started this band 8 years ago and have stayed with it through the thick and thin. That is still the case. Its tattoo'd on my chest for crying out loud. As long as Oh Sleeper is a band, I'll be in it.

While there are no immediate plans for Oh Sleeper, Blay will be heard with Wovenwar soon enough. The band's self-titled debut disc is expected this summer, while the lead single, 'All Rise,' is expected to surface April 21.
