Country music icon Willie Nelson has a new album out today (May 15) called ‘Heroes.’ The disc contains classic country songs, his own original work and unexpected covers. One of those covers includes Pearl Jam‘s 2009 single ‘Just Breath.’ Watch Nelson perform the song with his band live below.

The 79-year-old musician was in his Willie’s Roadhouse channel studio for Sirius XM when he played the song alongside his sons Lukas and Micah, the former joining his father on vocals for the track. Naturally it’s infused with some twang, much like Nelson’s cover of Coldplay’s ‘The Scientist’ (which is also on ‘Heroes’).

‘Heroes’ features plenty of guests, including Sheryl Crow, Jamey Johnson, Snoop Dogg — yeah, you read that right — and more. Willie Nelson and his crew are currently on tour in support of the album.

In other Pearl Jam news, the band are only making two live appearances in the United States so far. They will headline the revived Music Midtown in Atlanta, Ga. on September 22 and DeLuna Fest 2012 in Pensacola Beach, Fla. during the same weekend.

The band will be traveling all over Europe during the summer. The trek will kick off on June 20 in Manchester, U.K. and conclude in Copenhagen, Denmark on July 10. Look at their full itinerary here.
