It’s not quite a Mega Millions jackpot, but one lucky music memorabilia fan pocketed almost $1,200 with the sale of an unopened package of rare White Stripes goodies on eBay.

The set was a Third Man Records vinyl merchandise collection. Only 333 were sold initially in 2010, making this an in-demand collector’s item. The package included a holiday 7-inch record with the songs ‘Candy Cane Children’ and ‘Silent Night,’ a record player, headphones and custom vinyl carrying boxes. All items bear the Stripes’ red, white and black color scheme and lollipop swirl design.

The package had a starting bid of $1,199, and only one fan met the asking price before the auction ended last week.

Jack and Meg White released six albums together, four of which earned gold or platinum status. Since Jack declared there was “absolutely no chance” of the White Stripes recording together again, fans of the duo will have to satisfy themselves by listening to their old music and nabbing collector’s items online. White is now touring behind his solo record and is among the headliners on the 2012 Lollapalooza lineup.
