Before the Used invaded New York City to perform for a sold-out crowd, we had the opportunity to speak with guitarist Quinn Allman and bassist Jeph Howard.

During our chat backstage at New York’s Irving Plaza, the band discussed their new album, ‘Vulnerable,’ and how it compares to the themes of their 2002 self-titled release, the different approach the band had when it came to writing the album and their enthusiasm about touring with Dead Sara.

Quinn and Jeph also recounted the 2005 Australian ‘Taste of Chaos’ tour while fondly reflecting on one of their most intense and memorable run-ins with a hardcore Used fan, which guitarist Quinn says that he’ll “never forget.”
