Megadeth guru Dave Mustaine was the lead guest on last night’s episode of ‘That Metal Show’ (Dec. 3). He spoke about having to have neck surgery, which almost cost the band its appearance at the Big Four show in New York in September. Mustaine soldiered on with the heart of a champion and played through the pain. He has had the surgery, is feeling better and even showed the scar last night. How metal!
The ninth season of VH1 Classic’s ‘That Metal Show’ will launch on National Metal Day (11-11-11) and it kicks off with the biggest of all “gets” in terms of interviews, as Guns N’ Roses singer W. Axl Rose sat down with the hosts for an early morning chat a few weeks back.
The impressive guest list includes Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, ex-Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Slipknot/Stone Sour front man Corey Taylor.
