October 12, 2012 Stone Sour's new album, 'House of Gold and Bones Part 1' hits stores very soon,and ahead of the new release, the band has released the official video for the song 'Gone Sovereign'.
In a recent interview with Radio Metal, Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor recalls the time he was asked to contribute vocals to Anthrax's critically acclaimed 2011 album 'Worship Music' prior to the thrash metal veterans' reunion with singer Joey Belladonna.
Stone Sour guitarist Josh Rand let the beans spill in a recent interview about Cavalera Conspiracy and Soulfly bassist Johny Chow helping the band out with their touring bassist vacancy, but now the band has made an official announcement with Rand telling fans the news via a Facebook posting.

Stone Sour have yet to reveal the lead single from their forthcoming ‘House of Gold and Bones‘ album, but a few fans have been lucky enough to already hear a new track from the disc. ‘Taciturn’ appeared in the set list for Corey Taylor while he was overseas in Europe, as the singer played it acoustically for audiences to check out for the first time.
