Today marks a day of reflection for many as we remember the tragic 9/11 attacks in New York, Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, Pa. Amidst terrorism, there were also great acts of heroism with many sacrificing their lives to protect others.
Rock’s biggest bands are gathering to tear down Las Vegas this September, and we want you to be a part of it. Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Stone Sour, Shinedown, Godsmack, and a bunch of other bands will converge on the Entertainment Capital of the World to rock out for two solid days; leave your email below and register to join the party.
As the summer gives way to fall, it’s good to know that there’s still some good times to be had and solid hard rock to be consumed at the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. The trek just launched, but before things got underway singers Sully Erna from Godsmack, Brent Smith from Shinedown, and Rick DeJesus from Adelitas Way took part in a chat about the event at the Rockstar Uproar festival website.
Shinedown is probably not the first act you think of when it comes to remixes or “the club.” Heck, they’re probably not even in the first hundred or so acts when it comes to that, but if there’s one thing we’ve learned over the past decade, it’s that just about any track can be subject to a remix.
Vegas baby! It’s time to double-down on hard rock, as the Rock Vegas festival will take over Sin City for two days on Sept. 28 and 29 at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort. The event will feature such topline acts as Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Marilyn Manson and Godsmack.
Shinedown will continue to celebrate the release of their new disc ‘Amaryllis’ throughout the summer as the headliner on the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival kicking off in August with Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach and more – but even leading up to that, they have a lot of creative surprises in store for fans.
Shinedown have had much success with their latest album ‘Amaryllis,’ which includes their radio hit ‘Bully’ and the new single ‘Unity.’ Loudwire had the chance to catch up with the band’s guitarist Zach Myers backstage at Rock on the Range today (May 19) and he talked about the songwriting process for the album.
Shinedown headlined Rockfest yesterday (May 12) at Liberty Memorial Park in Kansas City, Mo. The one day monster rock bash is one of the largest in the country. Before their set Shinedown took some time to discuss the band’s evolution, the passing of the legendary Levon Helm and what the rest of the year has in store for the band.
