Seems like James Franco is everywhere these days, but we know one movie he won't be appearing in: 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,' the sequel to 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes.'
‘Rise of the Planet of The Apes,’ the second attempt in the past decade to reboot the ‘Planet of the Apes’ franchise, hits theaters August 5th.

Some complain about remakes and sequels and re-imaginings, I personally like them. Just as two different witnesses to an accident would have different accounts of what happened, why not have two stories about something fictional? This one definitely looks like they got it right. April 14, 2011 Here is the first trailer for Rupert Wyatt's 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' which is a prequel to the original Planet of the Apes starring James Franco, John Lithgow and more. This looks amazing! The visual effects are done by Weta, which is the same company that did the visual effects for Avatar, another bad ass movie. The movie comes out August 5th of this year.
