The new holiday movie ‘New Year’s Eve’ stars just about every actor or actress currently working in Hollywood. Which gave the folks over at Funny or Die for a fake sequel to the flick titled ‘Christmas Eve.’ It has 76 characters, 41 plotlines, and probably a huge payroll.
Even The Muppets, it seems, aren’t immune to the ‘Twilight’ phenomenon. In these promotional photos for their upcoming movie ‘The Muppets,’ Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest are recast as characters from the popular teen vampire saga.
If you’re not on Google+ yet, you probably know it’s a social network but not much more. What are these circles everyone’s talking about? How about hangouts? And isn’t this the same thing as Google Buzz? Though this LOL-inducing Google+ song from Break (sung to the tune of Queen’s ‘Another One Bites the Dust’) might not answer all your burning questions about the new social service, it’ll definitely get stuck in your head.
Weird Al has been making parodies since Lady Gaga was still a Baby Gaga, so it’s pretty impressive that he’s never looked better than he does in the video for “Perform This Way,” his take on “Born This Way.” Seriously, you have to be in pretty good shape to have your head transplanted onto a woman’s body at that age. It’s a very invasive procedure, carries a lot of risk, but he comes out of it looking flawless and ready to dance. The number of costume changes alone would kill a lesser man.
So, Oprah Winfrey is calling it quits after a bazillion years of weird guests, cookies, free cars, and crying. Honestly, I don't really care. I never really watched Oprah but since it's big news, this is my fondest memory of Oprah.
Have you heard of the (comedy) band The Lonely Island? The band features Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone. All of Saturday Night Live fame. Their music is as good as it is funny. Well, they're back with a new song/video that features Michael Bolton.
