NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ Casts ‘SNL’ Vet Molly Shannon, of All People

Huh. Alright then. Earlier today we learned a bit more about why NBC seems to have decided not to move forward on the Bryan Fuller-helmed 'Munsters' reboot 'Mockingbird Lane,' reportedly owing to disagreements over just how quirky and "Fuller" the world outside the actual 'Munsters' should be. Given 'Hannibal's' latest round of castings, including typically comedic performer and 'SNL' vet Molly Shannon, might Hannibal Lecter's world be in for the same treatment?

‘Carnivale’ Creator Sinks His Teeth Into NBC’s ‘Dracula’

Say, remember that 'Dracula' adaptation NBC was developing with 'The Tudors' star Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in the titular role? Yeah, neither did we, but with all the other programs on deck for NBC's future, including 'Hannibal' and the upcoming 'Community' delays preoccupying us, it was easy to let one slip. Things may be looking up for the adapted vamprie series, however, acquiring 'Carnivale' creator and writer as showrunner, but will 'Dracula' rise above or just plain suck?

NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ Casts ‘Pushing Daisies’ Vet, But As Whom?

'Pushing Daisies' creator Bryan Fuller might have needed a bit of comfort this week, after rumors flew that NBC was dropping his oft-questioned, but wholly intriguing 'Munsters' reboot 'Mockingbird Lane.'  And how better to comfort the man then by diving into new work and hanging out with friends?  That's why the latest addition to Fuller's forthcoming NBC adapation of 'Hannibal' might look familiar to fans of 'Pushing Daisies,' but who exactly will Ellen Greene be playing?

Daniel Craig’s ‘SNL’ Promos Are A Slice of Double-O Heaven

While 'SNL' has been having a pretty stellar season already in just two episodes, with more to come from the likes of Christina Applegate and Bruno Mars, it certainly remains to be seen how the steely blue eyes and stoic demeanor of everyone's favorite modern James Bond Daniel Craig will lend themselves to sketch comedy.  Will his icy on-screen persona break out into comedy, or be the target of the cast?  Check out the first promos of Daniel Craig promoting this week's 'SNL' for your answer!

‘SNL’ Names Christina Applegate and Bruno Mars as Next Hosts

Though only two episodes deep into its 38th season, 'Saturday Night Live' has already produced some classics, be they 'Family Guy' funnyman (and newly-minted Oscars host) Seth MacFarlane and his dead-on Ryan Lochte impression, to Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his turn as the most interesting man in the world's son. But with Daniel Craig due to host this Saturday, who will next take the reigns? Why, Christina Applegate and Bruno Mars, of course, but not in the way you'd think!

’30 Rock’ Season 7: Matthew Broderick’s “Cooter” Returns!

While '30 Rock' gears up for its final 13 episodes on NBC, don't make the mistake of believing that a half-season means any less room for both new, and familiar faces to drop and send the acclaimed NBC meta-comedy off!  One of its many celebrity guest stars over the years, Matthew Broderick's downtrodden government employee Cooter Burger hasn't been seen since the show's second season, but will make a return at last!  What new position might we see Mattthew Broderick in, and what does it mean for Jack?

NBC Renews ‘The Voice’ for Fifth and Sixth Seasons

Although NBC's hit competitive reality talent show 'The Voice' didn't win any Emmys this year, losing the award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Show to CBS's 'Amazing Race,' at least it was nominated. And it doesn't mean the Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton-coached series lacks a decent fan base. It doesn't, and the recent announcement from NBC that 'The Voice' is getting renewed for both a fifth and sixth season is proof of that.

Chevy Chase Still Hates ‘Community,’ Calls Sitcom the “Lowest Form of Television”

For years now, many have lauded the Emmys as a predictable ceremony, including Jon Stewart last night, but one thing that certainly didn't surprise us was the lack of acknowledgement for 'Community,' in particular its outspoken star Chevy Chase. Over the last year we've heard Chase take potshots at everything from the series to departing showrunner Dan Harmon, but with Harmon gone and 'Community' possibly heading into its last season, what new bile does Chase have for the show?

‘The Office’ Season 9 Casts Stephen Colbert For A Very “Trebling” Halloween Episode

Can you say "casting announcement of the year?"  While 'The Office' officially returns tonight for its ninth, and final season (please don't remind us about 'The Farm') it's no secret that the upcoming year is bound to attract new and old guest stars alike, including some big names.  Well, if we don't yet know if Michael Scott will make the trek back to Dunder-Mifflin, how about Steve Carell's one-time 'Daily Show' co-star Stephen Colbert?  A victory for America, it is.

‘Saturday Night Live’ Re-Casts The President With A Pharoah

Earlier today we were ecstatic to confirm the news that longtime 'Saturday Night Live' star Jason Sudeikis would stick with the NBC sketch-comedy series through another season, rather than depart with Andy Samberg, Kristen Wiig and Abby Elliott.  Now, as 'Saturday Night Live' prepares to launch season 38 this Saturday night, we have even more turnover to report, though this time internally.  Fred Armisen will be stepping down from the role of President Barack Obama, but who will take his place?

Jason Sudeikis Staying with ‘Saturday Night Live’…For Now

Like a high school football team, seasons of 'Saturday Night Live' always feel somewhat bittersweet given the notion that sooner or later the best players will have have to throw in the towel and move on.  All summer long we've been worried that 'SNL' would lose a third heavyweight alongside Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig, but has Jason Sudeikis finally made up his mind about leaving?  Will we hold onto his political impressions for one more season?

NBC Skips 9/11 “Moment of Silence” for Kardashian Interview

As if we needed another reason to hate the Kardashians...

At 8:46 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, most national news outlets took a break from their regular programming to air a special "moment of silence" from New York City and Washington D.C. to honor the victims of 9/11. We say "most" because, as it turns out, not everyone was a participant. While FOX, CBS, ABC, CNBC and MSNBC went quiet at this time, which was the moment 11 years ago when the first plane hit the Twin Towers, NBC continued on with the 'Today' show, which just so happened to feature an interview with Kris Jenner of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'
