The lineups for the 2013 Lollapalooza festivals in Brazil and Chile have been announced. Lollapalooza Brazil will return to São Paulo's Jockey Club March 29-31, 2013, while Lollapalooza Chile will make its way back to Parque O'Higgins in Santiago April 6-7, 2013.
The second day of the 2012 Lollapalooza festival kicked off yesterday, only to be interrupted by Mother Nature by mid-afternoon. With the threat of thunderstorms looming, all ticket holders and performers were evacuated from Grant Park in Chicago, Ill.
If you can’t make it to Chicago, Ill. for this year’s Lollapalooza, do not fear. A live stream schedule of the upcoming festival was recently announced, featuring performances by the Black Keys, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, the Shins and many more.
The legendary rock ‘n’ roll festival Lollapalloza is headed to South America for the second time next spring, and Foo Fighters have signed on to headline. Lollapalooza will make its way to Santiago, Chile, from March 31-April 1, and will touch down for the first time ever in Brazil for a April 7-8 stint in Sao Paulo.
This year’s edition of Chicago’s annual Lollapalooza festival was the largest ever with over 100 acts and 270,000 people for the 3 day fest. The absolute highlight of course was the Foo Fighters wrapping up the gig on Sunday night. And not just because they’re the Foo Fighters, but also because of the torrential downpour that caused a brief delay, until Dave and the boys went on and played for 2 hours in the rain.
