The 2012 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have been announced, and it looks like the band Rush will finally take it's place in rock & roll history. Now that the band has finally gotten in, let's take a look at some other bands that have been snubbed over the years with my top 10 picks.
There's been a loss in the Kiss family, as singer Paul Stanley is mourning the death of his mother, Eva Eisen. Eisen passed away Saturday (Sept. 29) at the age of 88. The official cause of death was not given.
If you know anything about Motley Crue and Kiss, it’s that the two bands really love their pyro. So it was definitely a little scary when a transport truck carrying some of Motley Crue’s pyrotechnic equipment was involved in an accident en route to the band’s performance tonight (Sept. 5) in Clarkston, Mich.
When Motley Crue and Kiss pulled their two-headed rock ‘n’ roll monster simply known as ‘The Tour’ into Englewood, Colo. last night (Aug. 9), they had a lot more than music on their minds. In the wake of the tragic movie theater shootings, the two bands announced their plans to donate $100,000 to the Aurora Victim Relief Fund. The bands hope that the money not only aids victims, but inspires others to support the cause.
Fans of Motley Crue and Kiss hoping to hear the hits definitely got their money’s worth as ‘The Tour’ opened Friday night (July 20) in Bristow, Va.
Everyone in the rock community is talking about the upcoming tour that Motley Crue and Kiss will embark on this summer. Billed simply as ‘The Tour,’ it’s going to be quite a spectacle, since both bands are known for “bringing it” in the live realm and having massive stage set ups. The bands did promise that each will be afforded ample opportunity to deliver two completely different, standalone shows, with Kiss frontman Paul Stanley declaring, “It’s not half-Motley, half-Kiss.” It’s full on for both — separate but equal.
Forgive me if this is happening to fast for ya, but I just go info on the Kiss/Motley Crue Presale for the August 4th show in DALLAS. The presale is TODAY from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. I’ve got the code and the link for you after the jump.
Motley Crue and KISS held a press conference today (March 20) to officially announce details of their co-headlining 2012 North American summer tour. The two-month trek is scheduled to kick off July 20 in Bristow, Va., and run through a Sept. 23 show in Hartford, Conn.
KISS and Motley Crue fans have been salivating since news first broke that the two rock ‘n’ roll powerhouses were joining forces for a full-blown tour this summer. With the official announcement just hours away, the bands have released a teaser trailer and poster for what is being dubbed simply as ‘The Tour.’
If the news that Motley Crue and Kiss are planning to embark on a tour this summer pretty much made your life when we reported it earlier this week, then more good news appears to be coming your way. Both bands have posted tickers at the top of their respective homepages, presumably counting down the days, hours and minutes until they announce more details about what will surely be an epic co-headlining trek.
Talk about an all-star line up. Current and former members of Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Kiss, Alice in Chains, The Cult and more are coming together for Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars, which is being dubbed a live show unlike anything else you’ve seen. That’s an understatement. The Allstars will tour South and Central America in both April and May of this year.
