Flyleaf + Drowning Pool To Showcase New Vocalists on 2013 U.S. Tour
Two rock bands will put their newly chosen singers vocalists on display when they team up for a 2013 tour. Earlier this year, Flyleaf announced that Kristen May would front the band, taking over for Lacey Sturm who left after recording of the group's 'New Horizons' album. Meanwhile, Drowning Pool are touring in support of their first album with new frontman Jasen Moreno. The as-yet-untitled disc just yielded the single 'Saturday Night.'

Drowning Pool Debut First Song With New Singer Jasen Moreno
August 17, 2012 It's been a decade since the world lost Dave Williams, frontman of Drowning Pool. Since then, the band went through singers Jason 'Gong' Jones and Ryan McCombs. A few weeks back the band announced Dallas singer, Jasen Moreno, as their new singer. It only seemed fitting that the band would recruit their next (and last) singer from the town they call home.
Obviously there will always be comparisons to Dave and others, but judging by the 1st song they released, I fully believe they made the right choice.

Drowning Pool Unveil New Singer
Several months after parting ways with singer Ryan McCombs, Drowning Pool have unveiled his replacement. Jasen Moreno from another Dallas band, the Suicide Hook, is the group’s new vocalist. Moreno made his live debut July 8 at a gig in Ardmore, Okla., and there is video footage available from their July 10 show in Indiana.
